LADY BUGS ARE A PLAGUE Don't be fooled by their roundness and their dots. Last year there was report after report of lady bugs biting innocent bystanders in Cincinnati. Maybe they're more evil where I'm from, but man — they stare at you with their wee-beady eyes and chomp their teeth right into your arm. I bet you didn't even know lady bugs had teeth. THE BUGS IN THE HOLE Have you heard of Cicadas? I think that might have been what you woke up in your digging. Cincinnati is going nuts about the cicada infestation this year. Evidentally, these outrageously ugly cicada bugs lie hibernating just underground. Every 17 years they burrow their way back to the surface for 4 months of eating trees, carrousing with their neighbors, and laying the next generation of eggs. It just so happens that the largest swarm of Cicada bugs is set to awaken in May 2004! Just months away. I'm an absolute skeptic - but check back here in two months for updated impressions.
