Oh my gosh, what a beautiful day. I only did half of the studying I planned to. On the plus side, the spring yardwork is done, and I got to see all the plants and flowers peeking out today!
The tree removal people have STILL not come back to remove the GIANT tree stump in our back yard (look for more griping about this to come!). Today I didn't mind, though, and I sat on it for the longest time today, soaking up the sun. Darryl was digging some soil out of the garden to fill in the ruts that the crane left. In the process, apparently, a bunch of these weird beetle-looking things crawled out of the dirt. (Were they hibernating, do you think?) Needless to say, I was totally absorbed in checking them out when this wayward lady-bug ran into me. I guess she wasn't looking where she was flying, and smacked me right in the forehead. I'm sure I looked very lady-like as I shot up, and flailed my arms like I was under attack. Because I'm so graceful.
Ah, Spring.
