This week went by so fast, didn't it? It seems like only last weekend we were painting the cottage. Oh, yeah! It was last weekend when we painted the cottage! So, for those of you who couldn't make it (we missed you!) here is a list of things I learned while painting the cottage: 1. One of our cousins is a spy. He says he's NOT a spy, but when he goes to work, he wears a hidden earpiece to get secret messages, and he also wears a tuxedo. Who does that but a spy?! 2. If you tell ONE of our cousins that he can't ride a ride at Conneaut, then he will nickname you "Bubba Stinky Cabbage" and try to get you to sniff the air by saying, loudly, "What's that I smell?! CABBAGE?!" And, when you do sniff the air, a whole troop of cousins will laugh at you. 3. If you sleep through the first coat, you still get to eat lunch. But then you're in charge of doing the picnic table. 4. If you get enough people together, you can coat the cottage in LESS THAN 2 HOURS. And, maybe most importantly, 5. If you get assigned the task of sweeping under the eaves, close your mouth while you do so. ;)
