How's everyone doing? What a week we've had here. After two days in daycare last week Andrew got a bad stomach flu which eventually had him lose a pound and in the ER getting a few rounds of IV fluids. In turn, he got myself, Scott, and my mom sick with the same thing. Scott even missed his trip to Sweden this week. Scott then grounded Andrew as punishment for getting us all sick. So, Andrew has had to have alternative daycare arrangements this week ... of course we still pay whether he goes or not. If this stuff continues, I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess we'll have to get a nanny or something. Guess what? The whole nation is making fun of us here in NC. It took Scott 3.5 hours to get to mom & dad's to pick up Andrew (normally a 20 minute trip). That was record time, because it took most of our friends 6 hours to cover the same distance (Scott and I came up with a creative alternative route ... aided by the 4 wheel drive off road capabilities of the F150 ... I KNEW buying that package would pay off one day!). By the time they did get to my parent's, they were stuck, so Scott and Andrew never even made it home that night.
