The workmen were here again today… the excitement just never ends. ;) Today, they reinforced the ceiling in the office. In this picture, you can see boards going around the top of the walls. That’s where our new ceiling will be! 8" lower than our current one. You can see some of the reinforcing they’ve started.
Since the dining room is complete out of commission, it’s serving as storage space for new plumbing fixtures. Speaking of that, so is our living room.
And our hallway! Here’s the new tub, just waiting to be uncrated and put in place. That happens tomorrow.
It didn’t happen today because over the span of our 5' tub, our floor varies in level by 1.5" so they had to make a new level base. Here's a picture taken from the floor that shows the side of the new tub base and the floor curving away from it. Our house is so scary. :)
Hopefully tomorrow, if I’m not lazy, and things go as expected, I’ll post some pictures of the new tub in place!
