If There's Any Confusion, I Am A Girl. Or Why Buzznet Gives Me The Creeps. A Little Bit. So, you all know how awesome Hello software is. I loved Hello software. And also Picasa, without which, my internship would have been a NIGHTMARE. (Do you hear me Microsoft Photo Crap-Package.3 People?) ANYway. A few weeks ago I got a mac, and while that's been AWESOME, one of the things I really regret losing (aside from my Sims. Oh, Sims, how sorry I am that you live in that piece of crap in the closet.) was Hello and Picasa, because they are not compatible with the mac. So, a little internet noodling came up with buzznet, which was compatible with mac, had free accounts, could post to blogger, annd had the added perk of being able to create galleries. But (and this is where the weird comes in) all of your photos are publicly visible. And I'm not sure how to share them with blogger and not the WHOLE WORLD. In general though, buzznet = effective, if slow. Well, another thing buzznet does is send you an e-mail if someone comments on one of your photos. So, that's kind of neat. And this morning, when I checked my e-mail at school, I had two new comments, (assumedly) from one anonymous viewer. I am not ever kidding you, I am just copying and pasting this comment from one of my pictures of snow: : 03/09/2005 07:52 PM dude that garage needs to go Hahahahahaha. I can't even help myself. My garage does in fact, need to go. In fact, I don't even call it a garage, usually, because that word implies some sort of USABILITY, which our current carriage house does not have. It isn't even good enough for "shed" because at least a shed keeps things "dry" and "not covered in snow and/or leaves." So that part is awesome. But apparently, something about my photo galleries give the impression that I am a "dude." Is it the construction photos? The subject matter? Please excuse me now. I have to go and take a whole raft of photos of things pink, or fuzzy, or cuddly.
