What I did last weekend or Bring on the Spring! Last weekend, Darryl and I broke out the clubs for the first golf of the season. We played the back nine at Airport Greens, which starts out over water, and pretty much goes downhill from there. It's pretty muddy back there, so when we had finished, we looked like we'd been baha'ing. Without any sort of vehicle. The good part about the back nine is that no one goes back there (see aforementioned WATER HAZARDS and MUD) so there's no pressure from people waiting for you to get on the GREEN ALREADY! Also, Chrissy came over to play tennis. Our village has these really nice tennis courts and I've never seen anyone use them. They're surrounded by this 10' fence, but that didn't stop us from hitting the ball over! No sir! Give us a REAL challenge next time! Like, no rackets! We never reached Darryl's great tennis achievement, though. He hits the tennis ball so hard it just pops right THROUGH THE CHAIN LINK FENCE. Hence, my defensive "Please God, Just Don't Let That Hit Me" patented tennis stance. Also this weekend, a little yardwork got done, and vegetables were put in the greenhouse, so that was good. But the best part was that I convinced Darryl not to mow our lumpy, uneven, crabgrassy, patchy lawn. Soon it will blend in with our neighbors, (none of whom mowed, OF COURSE) and then I will take a spectacular photo feast for the eyes. Boo Ya!
