At CSU, all ed students have to create this portfolio. It has examples of your best work from classes, and is supposed to show that you learned and can apply stuff you learned. Each item has to be evaluated by a professor, and you have to have a minimum of 36 items, each with a review of proficient or exemplary. Today, I saw some of the portfolios of other students, and frankly, I am terrified for the children they may one day teach. Holy cow. Also, can everyone make sure to never say "mines"? As in "Mines is about magazines and doorknobs." or "You ain't seen nothing until you seen mines!" I can't wait for this week to be over. P to the S: if you haven't checked out the sidebar lately, please do!

This might backfire on you. I now feel an almost irresistable desire to use the phrase, "mines is about magazines and doorknobs," in conversation.
