Holy Moly! 

I know it must have been killing you all to see what the surprise was, because I KNOW it was making me crazy. Good thing Chrissy stopped by on the way home from Cincinnati to drop it off! In all seriousness, I was so worried it was a kitten, or a turtle, or something from uglycrap.com. (Don't steal that domain, it's for Chrissy and me ONLY!) ;) Anyway...
I was totally calm when my surprise arrived.

There was SO MUCH WRAPPING.

Seriously, y'all, I'm not sure you understand unless you can SEE it. That is a chaise lounge in that photo, completely COVERED in wrapping material. Chrissy said Mike only used half of his available supply, so, I guess it could have been INSANE.

Here it is! Under all that wrapping was the BEST GIFT, because now I can mix drinks and not look like a hobo! It's so shiny and fancy, and every time I see it, I'm jealous of myself. In this photo, I am actually mixing appletinis. It was clearly early on, because it was easier to take a picture of myself, and also, the mixer is not all iced over on the outside. :) Thanks Mike, I LOVE IT!!

Oh well. You've got a few other goodies to go with in my package. ETA is Tuesday. Now you'll have TWO shakers! :-)

By the way Mike, how is it that a MAN can take that sort of a hint? My husband and brothers remain clueless to these things. When my birthday rolls around, I find somthing I know we can afford and email Scott a link to the order form. At least that way I'm not disappointed.

You're finacee is soooo lucky!

I feel totally bad because I had two shakers and I was just pawning one off on Emily!

Still, getting and unwrapping a package is more fun than anything else. And two shakers means twice the Appletini capacity.

Ha! I never said I actually bought one! We had some bar stuff we really didn't use anymore.

But, your shaker is much nicer. I sent her our little one.

And don't worry ... Scott's bar is still fully stocked. :-)

Oh, man you guys are the best!

If you think I can't double-fist the shakers, you're crazy. I'm going to go all coyote-ugly in the kitchen now!!
