Construction! 

Well, the village FINALLY gave the garage approval. We actually have to spin it on the lot, so it won't be as attractive, but at least it will exist! No cleaning snow off the cars this winter! Woot! Now, there's just one more Board of Zoning Appeals meeting, then the Village Council meeting, then we can start getting permits from the building department! The contractor says he'll start building in only a couple of weeks, so I have to get busy moving all my plants, and Darryl has to find some people to help him tear down and remove the existing garage. Oh, and we have to find somewhere to STORE ALL OUR STUFF. In even bigger news, this means that Darryl's tools can go out to the garage. Hence, our back porch can be made into a breakfast room, and our basement can be re-organized and used in new and exciting ways that have yet to be determined! But mostly, my house will be much more empty. And you will not have to walk past a giant table saw when you come in the back door. I absolutely cannot wait. Are you all excited about the picture taking opportunities on my horizon? I am! :)
