Garage Update!

Most of the garage details are So Boring. Even to me. So I'll spare you. But this one part is pretty funny. There's a meeting on Tuesday night, which is one of the last steps before we are officially approved to start construction, or are rejected completely. And in preparation, the village sent EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON OUR STREET a certified letter to let them know we're building a garage (potentially). So, we start getting these phone calls: "Are you building it on your lot? Then why do I care, I live a block away?!?!" "For THIS I had to go to the post office???" --from Darryl's brother-in-law "Do you know each one of these letters cost the village $4.55?! What a waste of money!" "Why are they giving you such a hard time? I thought your garage was built already!" Thus, out of about 20 houses on our street, there will be representatives from about 15 who are going to the meeting to tell the council that they're idiots, no one cares about the garage, stop wasting money and let us start construction. This will either dramatically help or hinder our cause. I'll let you know. The truth is stranger than fiction.
