Hello Cousins!

How's everyone doing? Sounds like Emily is swamped, but becoming a top rate teacher, no doubt. I am thrilled to see the new garage ... very exciting. Speaking of garages, our lack of one with a kid who is going to need bikes and wagons finally forced Scott and I to admit we needed more space. And with the cost of construction and interest rates both rising rapidly, we decided to do it soon. So we signed our contracts Sunday night and will officially have a new house in about six months! We're going through the final walk on the lot with the builder a week from Monday before they break ground. So, things have been chaotic because we have been hunting quickly. But in the end we wound up where we started ... building in a new neighborhood in the back of the subdivision we live in now. So we're literally moving 1/4 of a mile away. Andrew has been walking a while, but he's preferred crawling most of the time. However, he moved to a new room in daycare last week, where he will be until he turns 2. Since he's the new kid and therefore the youngest, he's loving life following the older kids around. And, he immediately began to prefer walking to crawling after moving to that room. Other than that, Andrew is simply a handful. He's a climber. You can't imagine what he gets into. I've caught Andrew's cold and Scott is in Sweden, so this week is rough. On top of that work has been insane for several months. But we leave this weekend for the inlaw's cottage on Fripp Island, SC for a whole week. Hooray! My parents happened to be going to Savannah for Thanksgiving, so rather than having dinner in a restaurant on Thursday (and I think it's just WRONG to eat Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant) they're joining us for a meal at the cottage. So, it should be fun. That's all for me. Looking for updates from everyone soon. Have a wonderful holiday!

Wow, that's great news about the new house Karen! Building will be great for you -- you'll get exactly what you want. Sounds like your hands are overflowing with work though. Construction, a baby, and a cold.

Hope you're all better in time for the trip south. Send us lot's of great beach pictures! It just got cold this week here in Cincy and I've still got to climb the ladder to spend my weekend up to my elbows in gutters.
A new house!!! Congratulations! That is so exciting! After the stress of building a piddly garage, though, I do not wish I was in your shoes. Maybe next year! ;)

Ground breaking on Monday - be sure to take lots of pictures if you can get out there!!
