Wednesday, November 30, 2005Oh my god, I am the world's worst procrastinator this semester.
It is 4:00 on Wednesday, and by 10am tomorrow, I need to finish the following:
* A university portfolio, which needs about 6 pages of material.
* a class portfolio, which is supposed to include about 20 pages of reflections. Number of those pages I have complete = 0.
* A unit plan, which, although complete, is in about 30 different files in 10 different folders on my computer.
* a 10 page comparative religions paper for which I have not even begun the research.
* a 5 page critique of some stupid history book I have not read.
* 2 critiques of "content area reading" chapters, which I have not read.
* 3 reflective letters from my learning to teach book that at least I'm fairly certain I bought at the beginning of the semester.
What is wrong with me!? I think I need a kick in the butt. No seriously. This is bad.
In other news, I will be tested for TB on Friday, and was fingerprinted by the FBI this morning! Exciting!
Comments:
Ok. It's 6:00. I have read the history book, and written the 5 page critique. I finished my 3 reliective letters. My unit plan is now all in one place. Unfortunately, I won't be able to print that here, only at school. Tomorrow. Before my class starts. Sheesh.
Now it's 8:00. I finally have my university portfolio done. All that's left are 20 reflections on teaching, a 10 page history paper, and 2 pages of chapter critiques. Ugh. Anyone want to write about Christianity vs. Buddhism and how that affected the development of Europe vs. Asia? Or maybe summarize a little content area reading strategies? No? What good are you?
