A picture of my car on our cul-de-sac. The picture is taken from where our house will sit. By the way, Scott's truck, "Big Red", is gone in place of a Toyota Sienna minivan. He gets the van and I get the car, which I think is too cool. The van is loaded though, so I must admit it's pretty tight. Posted by Picasa

It looks kind of like the land slopes down to the left there - like you might have a nice view! Is there anything to look at?
Okay, let me try to answer all of Emily's questions.

1) The lot does slope down in the front but that will be leveled off before laying the foundation. The backyard is huge (well, .60 acre, huge for Raleigh anyway) but it slopes down to the greenway. So, some of it won't be usable.
2) The backyard will have a view, and it has two covered porches, which is nice. It's basically trees, then the greenway, then a bunch of easements that can't be developed. So I'm not sure that we will even need blinds on the back of the house (well downstairs at least, I'm not brave enough to do that in the bedrooms).
3) A greenway is basically a walkway by the city that is natural, and is usually several miles long. There are greenways throughout this area.
4) Yes, due to town ordinances, they are only allowed to cut trees down where the house sits. They're not allowed to cut anything else. So it's nice, but I think it may be a bit too wooded. We'll have to wait and see. We at least need to clear a play area for Andrew.
5) Yep, the master bedroom is gigantic. Right now we hardly have any storage and no garage, and this house is full of storage, so that was a big deal for us.

Okay, I think that's everything!
