I found a rescue for Piper. I'm really upset but glad he'll be going to a rescue who will make sure he's in a good home. It's going to be rough.

Bailey's still sticking around. Hopefully Andrew won't force that dog into agressive behavior.

I can't believe you have to give away your dog!! That is heartbreaking. I mean, I DEFINITELY understand why - but it still must be sad. :(

Is he a Shih Tzu?

Yep, we have two little Shih Tzu's. I got Bailey in 1998 - so he's been around since before Scott. We got Piper from a rescue in 2001. It really sucks. It hasn't hit me yet. I guess it will once we actually hand him over.
