The children, they are attacking.

And they are serious. They bypassed less offensive weapons and went straight to germ warfare. I have been un-sick for only 4 days since I began teaching January 17. Do you have advice for me? I currently am taking EVERYONE'S advice, which so far includes: zinc, vitamin C, airborne, zicam, sudafed, and aspirin. I am still sick. Pray for me. Increased handwashing has had no effect. I have some bottles of antiseptic hand gel, and if this continues, I'm going to buy a gallon at Sam's Club and douse the little buggers as they walk in the door. I mean, SERIOUSLY. In other news, I bought a sweater 2 weeks ago. I put it on one morning shortly thereafter, with a matching shirt purchased at the same time. I proceeded to spill oatmeal on the front. I never even got out the door. Undeterred, I washed the sweater, and attempted to wear it again today. Feeling quite jaunty in new apparel, I made myself a cup of tea before heading to school, and accidentally dropped the tea bag back into my mug, splashing myself with hot herbal tea. (Someone told me that herbal tea is supposed to help you get rid of colds. (It's not working.)) I am now convinced that the sweater is cursed. One day, I may get to wear it outside of the house, but by that time, it will look as if I had knitted it myself. And then, dropped it in a mud puddle. And then wore it to paint the garage. And then to dust with. And then the dog slept on it. And then I wore it to school ANYWAY.
