SundaySundaySunday!!!! 

What's up, cousins? I'm going to a party today! Well, really, a birthday party for Darryl's niece, but STILL. There will be food. And people. Yesterday, I finished my licensure exams! Hopefully, I passed them all - I'll let you know next month when I get the scores. They were pretty tough, and people were freaking me out all, "The state average is 3 times to pass.." and "This is my fifth time taking this portion... don't expect to pass on your first time! hahaha." I'm hoping they're just stupid. Last week, the plumber finished plumbing, and now we just have to wait for him to be in town to meet with the inspector and check over the work. Then we can finish the bathroom, and a few safety violations (like railings along the front steps), and we should get an occupancy permit! Which will be great, since our new tenant is moving in in like... 2 weeks!! Later today, I think we're going to try to put a dryer vent in through a glassblock window in the rental basement - doesn't that sound like FUN? It must be a good month for plumbers, because our upstairs tenant said that his no-show plumber returned to finish the plumbing in his house, and now he thinks he may move in November or December. Hopefully, it won't be too hard to find a tenant at that time of year, because what would be worse than having an extra mortgage payment at Christmas time? You all must be busy, because I know you have stuff going on to talk about... Like, Nikki is graduating college this spring, right? And Karen's house must be coming along...? And some cousins must be out of school for the summer, with some summer plans? Speaking of that! Who's going to be in town/around on July 2? That's Bratenahl's fireworks day this year, and maybe we could have a bunch of you over and cook out! As long as you don't mind sitting in the DIRT in our half-finished YARD.
