Don't you hate it when... 

Don't you hate it when you're sitting somewhere in your house, and the dog lies right by your feet, and then you try to get up, but the dog won't move? So then you sort of half-rise out of the chair, and put one leg over the dog, and then THE DOG STANDS UP because he doesn't want you to step over him? And then you're stuck in a half-rise with one leg high in the air over the now-standing dog? Yeah, me too.
